He was predeceased by: his parents, Alene F. Bullington Martin and Edsel Ford Martin; his brother Larry Edsel Martin; and his close friend Bridgette Cole Holt. He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Larkin Hinson (Dewayne) of Waverly, TN and Jerry Martin (Kathy) of McEwen, TN.; his sister-in-law Brenda Martin of Georgia; his niece Tabatha Martin Grimes (Mike) of Waverly, TN.; his grandchildren, Michael "Mikey" Grimes, Damian Grimes (Danielle) and Jessica MacIntyre (Ryan); and his nieces and nephews, Heath Larkin, Kyle Larkin (Tracy), Phillip Martin (Sarah), Lydia Shumake, Troy Martin (Toni) and Wendy Martin (Christian).
