He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Morel and Jo Ann Williams Vester; his brothers, Christopher and Patrick Morel; and his nephew Captain Brent Morel.
He is survived by: his wife Phalby Walker of McEwen, TN; his stepdaughter Jessica Mercer (Ian) of McEwen, TN.; his brother Michael Morel (Molly) of Martin, TN.; his stepgrandchildren, Mark Mercer and Madelyn Russell (Patrick); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Leighton Cook and Maverick Russell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Christ Community Church (635 St Patrick St, McEwen, TN 37101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family has requested no flowers; instead, they ask that memorials be made to Humphreys County Humane Society.
