It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Helen Van Fossen (McEwen, Tennessee), born in Deerfield, Kansas, who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Uphoff and Ida Helen Hefner Uphoff; her children, Sharon Burns (Jimmy), Vicki James (Jesse), Janice Jones (Jack) and Dan Van Fossen (Cheryl); her husband Carl "Sonny" Van Fossen; her children, Carl Van Fossen and Sondra Van Fossen; and her grandsons, Ben Jones and John Burns. She was also cherished by 9 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or St. Patrick's School, 175 St. Patrick Street, McEwen, TN 37101, and masses said for Mrs. Van Fossen.
