He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Verline Claxton. He is survived by: his children, Teddy Claxton (Vicky), Terry Claxton, Tammy Pierce (Donnie) and Tandy Arnold (Larry); his stepson Timothy W. Cash; his siblings, Walter Claxton and Jewel Westerman; and his grandchildren, Hannah Claxton, Katelyn Claxton, Tony Collins, Jamie Collins, Emily Henry, Maggie Collins, Joshua Collins and Fourteen. He is also survived by Fourteen great grandchildren.
