He was predeceased by: his parents, Artur Bonkowski and Emma Kruger Bonkowski; and his siblings, Mike Bonkowski, Trudy Mathis and Helga Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Bonkowski; his daughters, Michelle Bowker (Rocky) and Kim Estes (Bruce); his brother Eddie Bonkowski (Elaine); his grandchildren, Wes Bowker (Nicole), Shaina Manley (Jason), Colt Bowker (Ashley), Caleb Estes, Jacob Estes (Lindsay), Emily Green (Nathan) and Shad Estes (Rayah); and his pet Lady. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
