He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest W. Moran and Nettie Mae Scurlock Moran; and his wife Marcella Rhea Claude Moran. He is survived by: his sons, Michael D. Moran (Brandy) of Waverly, TN and Tommy Moran (Vicki) of Hermitage, TN.; his grandchildren, Taylor and Larkin Moran; his brothers, Larry Moran (Rose), Ronnie Moran and Danny Moran (Susan); and his siblings-in-law, Denny Claude (Judy) and Sherry Forrester (Wilburn). He is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the St. Vincent DePaul.
