She was predeceased by: her parents, Azell Long Dotson and Aaron Z. Dotson; her husband James "Jim" Davis; and her brothers-in-law, Bobby Hill, Herman Rye and Kenneth Durham.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Collins (Todd) of Centerville, TN; her grandchildren, Cailey Ivey (Cody) of Lyles and Caleb Collins of Lyles; her sisters, Sue Hill of McEwen, TN and Alneita Rye of McEwen, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Martha Durham of McEwen, TN and Joyce Gibbs (Bill) of Dickson, TN.. She is also survived by her family as a loving mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Luff-Bowen Funeral Home - McEwen (9729 Hwy 70 E, McEwen, TN 37101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Earlene had requested that donations be made to the McEwen Church of.
