He was predeceased by: his parents, James Massengale and Lydia Massengale; his wife Katherine Massengale; and his son Bob Massengale. He is survived by: his sons, James Massengale (Marsha), Ken Massengale (Nellie), Ron Massengale (Jewell) and Ray Massengale Jr. (Sheila); his half-brother Morris Parsons; his sister-in-law Barbara Rodriguez; and his friend Mary Beringause. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
