With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelda Vian McCarter (McDonald, Tennessee), who passed away on September 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe F. Schabell and Euline Schabell; her husband William E. McCarter; her siblings, Howard Schabell, Franklin Schabell and Nada Lea Lauderback; and her grandson Jacob Woodby.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Renee Woodby and Nathan McCarter; her brother Grady Schabell (Betty Nell); her brother-in-law Jack McCarter; her granddaughter Jessica Woodby-Denema (Peter); and her great grandchild Job Woodby.
