He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Vandergriff Mitchell; his children, Randall Mitchell and Norma Janeway (Kent); his grandsons, Brandon Janeway (April) and Eric Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Blakely Janeway; and his brother Audley Mitchell (Liva). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
