She was predeceased by: her husband Benny Moyers; her parents, Eula Merritt and Johnny Merritt; her son Steve Moyers; and her siblings, Bruce Merritt (Mae), Alvin Merritt (June), Shelma Merritt-Martin, Paul Merritt and Junior Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Bond (James), Michael Moyers (Darlene) and Sherry West (Martin); her grandchildren, Alicia Newhouse (Mark), Kayla Ragsdale (Zach), Martina Sturgill (Dyron Holt), Austin Moyers (Erica), Whitney Lawson (Sam) and Ben Moyers; her great grandchildren, Lexi Ragsdale, Eli Sturgill, Weston Newhouse, Lainey Ragsdale, Addy Newhouse, Lela Lawson and Beckett Ragsdale; her siblings-in-law, Dolly June Merritt, Cathy Merritt and Jack Moyers (Darlene); and her grandsons, Benjamin Moyers, Mark Newhouse, Zach Ragsdale and Sam Lawson (Eddie Teems). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
