Walter Henderson Seymour Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Henderson Seymour of Maynardville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Ann Greene Seymour; his children, Stacy Seymour and Karen Seymour; his parents, Charles Henderson Seymour and Retha Hurst Seymour; and his siblings, Swan Seymour, Ann Shoffner Malone, Irene Smith, Betty Woods, JoAnn Brewer (Junior Brewer) and Charles Edward Seymour.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Seymour and Maria Seymour; his grandsons, Blake Buckner, Allen Seymour and Thomas Seymour; his great grandchildren, Waylon Charles Seymour and Judson Seymour; his niece Tammy Bowman; and his friends, Rev. Fred Goodson, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Richard, Linda Nicley, Beulah Moore and Kelly Cunningham. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A procession was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
