It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern Wallace Lowry of Maynardville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lowry; his parents, John Lowry and Mae Lowry; and his siblings, Ruth Howard, Jean Durham, Paul Lowry and Naomi Napier.

He is survived by: his children, Wally Lowry (Melanie), Randy Lowry (Kristin), Betsy Lowe (Mike) and Rusty Lowry (Penny); and his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Aybree Lowry, Sadie Brook, Baylor Lowry, Lettie Jo Lowry, Laelynn and Brylon Longmire.

Memorial donations may be made to the Union County Senior Center or Halls Crossroads Presbyterian Church.
