She was predeceased by: her father Lowell Talent; her stepfather Morris Meek; her grandparents, Hobert and Ruby Norris; and her mother-in-law Janie Boyd.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Young; her son Joseph Young (Nicole Lytle); her mother Mary Meek; her brother Jeffery Meek; her aunt Nancy Ervin; her uncles, Jim Norris and Johnny Norris (Claudett); and her niece Melissa England. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
