She is survived by: her daughter Terry Shumate (Jerry); her grandchildren, Logan Norton of Maynardville, Katrina French (Tommy) and Natalie Earl (Andy); her siblings, Mae Emert and Ron Brown; her nieces, Lisa Bean and Rhonda Miller; her nephew James Watson, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Pat Watson, Virgie Hickle and Dennis Dyer (Pat); and her close friend Barbara Nease. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary (220 TN-61, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A procession was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
