He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William James Robinson and Juanita Virginia Robinson; his aunt JoAnn Robinson; and his cousin Barbara Ann Robinson Clonch. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte F. Robinson Claiborne; and his son Christopher Ray Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the New Gray Cemetery (Western Avenue) (2724 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Gray Cemetery (2724 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921).
