Robert Orville Wood Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Orville Wood Sr. (Maynardville, Tennessee), who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Wesley Wood and Mamie Byrd Wood (Carter); his siblings, Marie Layman, Clifton Wood, Ashton Wood, Wilfred Wood, Charles Wood, Etta Wilson, William Wood and Nathaniel Wood (Pete); and his great grandchild Avery Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Wood (Cookie); his children, Robin Hardin (Gary), Renee Wood, Robert Wood Jr., Glenn Wood, Bambi McDonald (Joe), Troy Wood (Kris), Holly Wood (Trevor Puckett), Jennifer Tonge, Melanie Wood Moody (Marshall) and Mitzi Wood-Von Mizener (Jason); his granddaughter Charlie Hobbs (Neil); and his sister Anne Trenum. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren.
