He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Albert and Cora Delia Haynes Johnson; and his wife Ruby Richardson Johnson. He is survived by: his children, William E. Johnson, Angie Johnson of Knoxville, Rhonda Johnson of Maynardville and Christy Sands of Maynardville; his grandchildren, Steven Sands, Jeffery Lynch, Alyssa Lynch and Joseph Murray; his great grandchildren, Braxton Lynch, Camden Murray and Ember Murray; and his siblings, Peggy Maze, Maydell Bradford, Edna Johnson, Arnold Johnson and Gary Johnson.
