He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty Jane Muncey Mynatt; his parents, Charles Mynatt and Sarah Jane Mynatt; his siblings, Nellie Frasier, Elbert and Hubert Mynatt; his son-in-law Larry Baker; and his children, Howard Mynatt (Glenda), Christine Parker (Lonnie), Wayne Mynatt (Gail), June Jones, Carolyn Baker, Johnny Mynatt (Marie) and Kathy Texter (Aaron). He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Due to COVID concerns, a call of convenience will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021, from 4:00 to 8 p. m. at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville, TN.
