He is survived by: his children, Thomas Schlachter (Margaret) of Dallas, Linda Schlachter, Paula Schlachter of New York and Christopher Schlachter (Sylvia "Jenny") of Maynardville, TN.; his grandchildren, Paul, Nicholas, Tommy, Chrissy, Zeb, Robert, Liam, McKinze, Adriana, Brianna and Stella Schlachter; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Makenah, Keeton, Colton, Khalani, Mari and Miya Schlachter. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
