She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ishmael Denver Baker (Leona Shepherd), Pauline Baker (Bill Coots), Frankie Baker (Eugene Coots) and Tiney Baker (Willie Bowling). She is survived by: her husband Reverend Gordon McMahan; her children, Sophia Taffer (Randy Harris), Betty Taffer (Tim Cupp), Pamela Baker Taffer (Lee Helton) and Merle Herbert Taffer Jr.; her brother Reverend Eugene Baker (Kathleen Shepherd Baker); her grandchildren, Bobby Couch (Chelsea), Alex Harris, Elijah Helton (Shelby), Samuel Helton, Robin Harris (James), Arika Couch (Arnie) and Amy Couch (Travis); her great grandchildren, Emery, Jaxson, Isabella, Braxton, Alleybeth, Trinity, Raven, Benjamin, Emily and Sorin; and her nieces and nephews, Minnie, Dussie, Keith, Pearl and Rhonda.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trinity Reigns Worship Center (300 John Deere Dr, Maynardville, TN 37807). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Pleasant View Cemetery.
