She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Aker; her son Kevin Aker; her parents, Milton Cooke and Vesta Cooke; and her siblings, Ora, Roy, Buddy Cooke, Frances Cooke, Maggie Monroe and Myrtle June Porter.
She is survived by: her sister Eleanor; her brother-in-law Bill Howard of Reno, Nevada; and her close friend Lydia Cocklin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
