He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bailey and Goldie Bailey; and his children, Rick Bailey and Linda Gail Bailey. He is survived by: his children, Donny Bailey (Phyllis), Chris Bailey, Sharon Mink (Joe) and Lisa Tolliver (Scott); his siblings, Jerry Bailey (Nele) and DeAnna Crawford; and his significant others, Rosie and Scobby. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
