He was predeceased by: his parents, Carley B. Rutherford and Helen McPhedridge Rutherford. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Carmen Rutherford Murphy (Roger Murphy) and Gary Wayne Rutherford II (Cheree Coppock Rutherford); his grandchildren, Saylar Epperson, Dawson Epperson and Cade Murphy; his siblings, Bob Rutherford, Bill Rutherford, Rick Rutherford and Carla Cantrell; and also G. W.. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
