He was predeceased by: his wife Naomi Grimes; his parents, Edward Grimes and Sally Grimes; his sisters, Helen Jordan, Lucille Russell and Shirley Noland; and his stepson Scott Braden.
He is survived by: his son Franklin D. Grimes, II; his brothers, David, Joe and Randy Grimes; his stepchildren, Robin Flynn (Gary), Daris Braden, Misty Little and Monty Walker (Missy); and his grandson Michael Walker. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
