He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Kirk Damewood; his parents, Fred Damewood and Sarah "Sadie" Damewood; his sisters, Mosella Kitts, Pauline Davis and Nadine Kitts; and also Donnie Damewood.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Damewood, Anita Dyke, Randy Damewood, Heidi Damewood, Teresa Cabbage, Elder Ray Cabbage, Clydia Tipton, Randy Tipton, Mark Damewood and Rhonda Damewood; and his sister Jewell Daniels. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great-grandchildren.
