She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Kitts and Onalee Kitts; and her brother Eugene Kitts. She is survived by: her husband Charles Nicely, Jr.; her children, Dotty Sartain (Gordon) and Chuck Nicely (Michelle); her grandchildren, Mandi Suddath (Matt), Damian Nicely, Nikki Heath (Bryson) and Angel Heath; her great grandchildren, Justin Suddath (Haven) and Ivy Heath; her great great grandchild Wesley Suddath; and her close friend Mary Ellison.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
