He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Drew (Kali), Hanna, Hunter (Virginia), Calleigh, Connor, Caitlyn Grace, Ty and Drake; his close friend Kimberly Kemphart; his sons, Bubba Twisdale (Courtney), David Twisdale and Robert Twisdale; his siblings, Ronnie Twisdale (Robin), Harold "Poochie" Twisdale (Ruth) and Melinda Hartsfield (Dennis); his parents, Alma and George; his brother Frog; his wife Doris; and also Phyllis Kaufman. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Ebenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church (70 Witherington Rd, Mason, TN 38049). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
