She was predeceased by: her parents, Peat Adkison and Fannie Johnnie Byars Adkison; her former husband James Franklin Smith, Sr.; her husband Larry Gene DeFoor; her son Franklin Keith Smith; and her grandson David Keith Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lemmon of Mason, TN and James Franklin Smith, Jr. (Tammy) of Jupiter, FL; her stepsons, Eddie DeFoor of Oakland, TN, Carlton DeFoor of Oakland, TN, David DeFoor of Oakland, TN and Don DeFoor of Oakland, TN; and her niece Becky Green. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
