He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Abbott and Eva Beatrice Champion Gross. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, David Abbott, Michael Hopper and Deennea Green; and his grandchildren, Brooke Nicole Abbott, Emily Taylor Abbott, Brittany Renee Hopper and Jessica Cotter.
