He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Franklin and Nancy Perry; the mother of his children Nadine Carlton Stewart; his siblings, Franklin "Buck" Perry and Bertha May Frank; and his stepson Johnny Broughton.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Stafford Perry; his children, Brenda Ballard of Burlison, Basil Perry of Houston, TX and Houston "Buddy" Perry of Covington; his siblings, Shirley Childress of Texas, Mary Pearl Stinger of Springfield, OR, Stanley Perry of Covington and William Perry of Covington; his stepchildren, Debbie Burrows and Paul Broughton; and his grandson Scott Smith. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, five great grand children and four great-great grandchildren.
