It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Gene McCarter (Mascot, Tennessee), who passed away on November 14, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora McCarter and Ples Walter McCarter. He is survived by: his siblings, Dell Huskey (Glenn), Vyril Green King (George), Phyliss Davenport (Wayne), Max (Pearl), Ray (Janetta), Hugh McCarter, Howard Maples (Willie) and Ruth McCarter; his siblings-in-law, Doris McCarter and George C. McGhee; his wife Faye McCarter; his sons, Walter Gene Jr. (Bud) and James Andrew McCarter (Andy); and his siblings, Alice Law (Cecil), Bea McGhee and Ralph McCarter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
