Ruth Ann Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2020, at the age of 82, Ruth Ann Smith of Mascot, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Harris and Anna McGill of Knoxville; her former husband Pleas Lindsey; her husband Joe Smith; and her sister Brenda Medford.
She is survived by: her cousin Dorothy Miller; her children, Gail Shaver (Larry), Robin Miller, Larry Lindsey (Tommi), Chris Lindsey (Kim) and Timothy Lindsey; and her grandchildren, Christina Mann, Brad Shaver (Vivian Ann), Jennifer Friedel (Curt), John Miller IV, Melissa Trent (Tim), Nicole Oatney (David), Andy Lindsey (Carla), Nicholas Lindsey (Joie), Aneika Lindsey, Kelsi Lindsey, Alaya Lindsey and Braylen Lindsey. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation to UT Gardens be made.
