He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Cagle; and his aunt Imogene Barbee. He is survived by: his wife Sally Fisher Irwin; his daughters, Rhonda Merrill (Rich), Erin Keith (Carl) and Misty Jeffers (Tracy); his grandchildren, John Merrill, Miranda Carson, Matthew Keith, Laurel Keith, Jason Keith, Ashley Hackett, Rachel Jeffers, Caroline Jeffers and Harrison Jeffers; and his sister Geneva Cagle Miller. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
