He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Whitmore and Ruth Whitmore; and his siblings, Edward, Xeno Whitmore and Leola Garland.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Whitmore (Gina) of Knoxville and Whitney Middlebrook (Bryan) of Corryton; his grandchildren, Reagan Whitmore of Knoxville, Caden Middlebrook of Corryton and Madison Middlebrook of Corryton; and his brother David Whitmore.
