She was predeceased by: her husband John M. King, Jr.; her son Ron King; her great grandchild Kaiden King Theiland; her siblings, Bill, Ed, Earl and Blanche; and her parents, Charlie Thomas and Bertha Thomas.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dustin Caughron, Dustin King and Jessica Akin; her children, Vickie, Don (Gail), Mickie (Dean), James (Kimberly), Connie (Robert), Ginger and Johnny; her siblings-in-law, Sonny King (Violet), Barbara King Polley and Faye Thomas; and her sisters, Dorothy, Helen, Pat and Robin. She is also survived by several grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren; and many more cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
