She was predeceased by: her husband Reggie William Bailey, Jr.; and her parents, Jacob Harrell and Carrie Harrell. She is survived by: her children, Peggy Shipe (Sonny) and William Bailey (Bill); and her grandchildren, Lora Oglesby (Rodney), Lisa Beckham (Ben), Leah Shipe, Leslie Sexton (Steven) and Ashley Brown. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
