He is survived by: his children, Victor Atkins, David Atkins (Gadiza), Duane Atkins (Tammy) and Janie Atkins; his grandchildren, Gregory Atkins, Richard Atkins (Tiffani), Caleb Calfee and Bethany Atkins; his great grandchildren, Mekayla, Carson, Bobbi and Kinleigh Atkins; and his siblings, Curtis, Denver, Morris, Jerry, Mike Atkins and Betty Sewell.
