She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. E. W. Knight and Hattie Knight; her husband Robert Burkhart Jr.; her grandchildren, Kevin Gross and Melissa Fox; and her siblings, Carl "Dickie" Brown, Paul Hall, Don Hall, Richard Knight, Patricia Knight and Bobbie Jo Larcom.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell (Charlene), Teresa, Cynthia and Jackie; her brother David Knight (Paulette); her grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Justin, Eric Grubb and Jacob; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Nathan, Preston, Logan, Jason, Addison, Haley, Kenadi Troy, Jaydon, Nila, Aurora (Rose), Waylon and Emma.
