It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertie Sue Nichols (Mascot, Tennessee), who passed away on July 6, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Bertie Sue was predeceased by: parents, Gus Whitman-Wilson and Margie Whitman-Wilson; and siblings, Nelson Whitman, Virginia Lee, Margaret Hayes, Ann Prevost and Freda Phillips.
Bertie Sue is survived by: husband Hollis Nichols; children, Wayne Nichols (Debbie), Greg Nichols, Angela Walsh (James) and Diane Boatman (Rick); grandchildren, Becky Grindstaff (Brad), Melissa Hitt (Curt), Nick Boatman (Kristen) and Wesley Nichols (Haylie); great grandchildren, Jackson, Kelsie, Benton, Logan and Anderson; sister Ollie Mae York; and brother-in-law Ed Nichols.
