It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Taylor Sands (Maryville, Tennessee), who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sands and Margaret Leoma Sands (Ward); his siblings, Dewayne, Lowell, Ronald Sands and Arletta Sands; his son David Sands; his granddaughter Amber Westhoff; and his great grandchild Elowen Headrick.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Sands, Shawn (Julie Sands), Charles (Kristine Bogart), Belinda (Allen Headrick), Tammy (Larry McElroy) and Crystal Bogart; his grandchildren, Jared, Laura Headrick, Daren Headrick, Shelby Sands, Brittany Sands, Corey Pulver, Ali Wagstaff of Marissa McElroy, T. J, Emma Gibson and Elijah Bogart; his wife Barbara Bogart Sands (Roberson); his siblings, Sam (Diana Sands), Tim (Nina Sands), Bruce Sands, Jeanette Dewitt, Estell (Don Newman) and Sharon Sands; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Sands and Joanne Sands. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
