He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rogers Campbell and Margaret Dana Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; and his children, Rod, Julia (Jay), Marty (Ed), Amy and Matt (Nancy). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Service (1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (3359 Louisville Rd, Louisville, TN 37777).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Imagination Library, Good Neighbors of Blount County, or St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
