He was predeceased by: his parents, Ladd McCord and Allie Mae McCord; and his brother Gerald McCord. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lambert McCord; his sons, William Keith McCord Jr. (Amy), David Lambert McCord (Iris), John Ladd McCord (Kenda) and Joseph Allen McCord (Jules); his grandchildren, Leah, Meg, Mac, John, Caitlin, Morgan, Jason, Reid, Clay, James and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Addy, Walker, Tucker and Tristan.
The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations toward the William Keith McCord Scholarship at Pellissippi State Community College.
