He was predeceased by: his former wife Connie Smith; his parents, Otto Smith and Mildred Smith; his mother-in-law Patricia Miller; his children, Frank and Christina; his son-in-law Jason Carl; his granddaughter Ashley Carl; and his brother Robert M. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Alma Miller; his children, Periann Carl, Robert Smith (Donna Williams), Patricia Smith Devino (Bill), Nancy Carrizales (Venancio) and Dawnald Smith (Jackie); his grandchildren, Danielle Carrizales (Greg Maneikis), Alexandra Carrizales, Rebecca and Devon Smith; and his sister-in-law Iris Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
