He was predeceased by: his wife Opal Bernice "Tootsie" Garner Tipton; and his parents, William Tipton and Hettie Mae Sellers Tipton. He is survived by: his children, Danny Tipton (Cindy), Chuck Tipton (Felita), Jackie Sands and Marcie Barringer (George); and his grandchildren, Becky, Matthew, Mitchell, Cassie, Keith and Sam. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members, neighbors, and friends.
