It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Martin Murphy Jr. of Maryville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Murphy Sr. and Vera Shields; his wife Fay Jean Murphy (Shields); and his siblings, Nora Penson, Paul Lewis, Max Lewis and Leonard Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Faye Murphy and Wade Murphy III (Orlando); his grandchildren, Noah, Blake, Kelsey, Keira, Brantley and Aubrey; and his brothers, C. B. Radford (Laura) and Jesse (Sylvia). He is also survived by several Brothers and Sisters in law, Nieces Nephews, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (1102 Big Springs Rd, Maryville, TN 37801). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grandview Cemetery (2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803).
