It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronika Nowading of Maryville, Tennessee, born in Dresden, Tennessee, who passed away on November 5, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Karl Eugen Schmidt and Rosalie Margarete Fischer Schmidt; her sister Stephanie Schmidt; her nephew Florian Von Rudloff (Juan Jose Alonso); and her cousin Dr. Klaus-Dieter Schmidt.

She is survived by: her husband David Carl Nowading; her sister Dorte Gerstenberg; her son Andre Nowading; her daughter-in-law Vivian Nowading; her daughter Justine Avera (Vincent Ramirez); her granddaughters, Margaret Avera and Anne Avera; her niece Fritzi Gerstenberg; and her nephew Jin Gerstenberg. She is also survived by loving mother that delighted in helping her children.
