He is survived by: his wife Brandy Abernethy Crowder; his stepdaughters, Virginia and Rose Marie Downing; his mother Sarah Carolyn Patton; his stepmother Margie Ribble; his parents-in-law, Harvey and Diana Abernethy; his siblings, Barry Crowder, Chandra Rueff, Kelly Thompson and Michael Thompson; his nieces, Delilah Rueff and Caitlin Blair; his great-niece Aya Vanlandingham; his brother Chip; his sister-in-law Mary Abernethy; and his nieces and nephews, Alex, Avery and Austin Abernethy.
