He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Maynard and Ellen Maynard; his siblings, Brenda and Tommy Maynard; and his granddaughter-in-law Maria Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Wright Maynard; his grandsons, Derrick Hicks of Maryville, Ryan Hicks (Kayla) of Maryville, Chase Worley of Maryville and John Worley (Christie) of Snow Camp, NC; his great grandchildren, Madison, Hailey and Emily Hicks of Maryville; and his close friends, Bill, Barbara, Tommy, Tim Leonard, Janie Cable, Shirlynn Stewart and Betty McKenzie. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, and many special nephews and nieces.
