He is survived by: his daughter Amy Howell Houser (Mark); his sister Oleta Zachary of Cullowhee, NC; his nephews, Tim Zachary of Cullowhee, NC, Kyle Smith (SC) and John Howell (Washington); and his niece Kenni Lynn Brooks of Cherokee, NC.
